Super Scope 6 | Nintendo | 1992 | Take aim and fire! With 6 games included, Super Scope put you behind the sight of the most advanced game firing device ever developed for the Super Nintendo video game system. Note: Gun not included.*** [64]***85% for younger ones 65% for older ones [37]***85% for youngers 65% for others [29]*** [27]***Super Scope 6 is a collection of six mini-games packaged with the Super Scope light gun. They are divided into two sections: Blastris and LazerBlazer. The first three are colorful test of skill games, while the last three are more serious Missile Command-like defense games. Blastris A plays like a sideways Tetris; however, instead of moving and rotating blocks, the player must shoot and destroy blocks to make them fit. Upon clearing five lines, the game proceeds to the next level. Blastris B is somewhat similar to games like Columns. A single block will fall from the top of the screen and can be shot to rotate it to one of three colors (blue, green, or orange). Connect three blocks of the same color to eliminate them. Mole Patrol is a Whack-a-Mole game where the player must shoot all of the blue moles as they pop out of their holes before time runs out. Later stages include pink moles which will speed up time and make it more difficult to hit the real targets. In Intercept, a series of missiles fly across the screen from right to left. The player must shoot them down before they reach the other side of the screen. Engage forces the player to shoot down enemy ships as well as incoming missiles that will damage the player's shields and ultimately destroy the craft. Confront features ships and robots that the player must shoot before they get too close and fire with their own lasers. Ultimately, Super Scope 6 displays the capabilities of the Super Scope, but none of the games have any real depth and get old quickly. | labelimagesubject |
